Relax

Are you overworked? Over-stressed? Just over?

It’s so easy right?

In this day and age, with all the technology, responsibilities and trying to keep up with the Jones’!

Do you wake up and immediately have 500 things on your mind?

Are you constantly running from here to there? To school, the grocery store, the gas station, the post office, the mall.

Is your mind constantly running? Thinking about needing to remember to drop the kids off at school, pick them up from school, get yourself to school, what groceries you need at the store, the gas you need or else you might not make it to all these errands?

When was the last time you had a chance, or better yet, gave yourself time to relax?

Did you know that you can do that? Make your own time?

Some people even schedule in their own down time!

You’ve been working hard. Take time to relax!

Tweet this!

Sound weird? But why not? Everything else in your life is probably scheduled, or at least a lot of it, right? Don’t you deserve to relax at some point during your day too?

So, take some time to find a moment here or there to relax. In whatever form that comes in – reading a book, taking a hot shower/bath, going outside, talking to a friend on the phone. Or, how about trying to find time to relax as a family – read a book together, talk about your days, play a game?

Or, simply take a brief moment and take a deep, long breath.

Enjoy 🙂

  1. I have just started exploring crafts and diy and this product sounds amazing! Would be willing to try this out! 🙂

  2. I definitely need to remind myself to relax more! Life gets crazy…this looks like a good option!

  3. Taking time to relax is so important! As a mother of 2 toddlers, relaxing is not something I remember to do often. I like your Day in the Country print. So pretty!

  4. Sunday afternoon is my time to relax. I wish I could find time everyday, but with 7 kids it just isn’t possible. Scheduling would help, but something always interrupts the schedule. Getting my mind to relax is he hardest. Thanks for sharing!

    • I agree, getting the mind to calm down is hard!! And yes, when schedules get interrupted that’s not relaxing at all, sometimes we just have to go with the flow huh?.

  5. I find a comfy spot on the couch and read a book.

  6. I really need to relax a bit more. Actually I am relaxed given that I have a one month old newborn, BUT I would really like a massage and a cocktail (which I cannot have because I bf).

  7. We all need a timeout for ourselves, especially in the “busy-ness” of everyday life! I love to color when I’m stressed, and my favorite getaway is a hot bubble bath with a glass of wine. Great post! Now go relax! 🙂

  8. I like to do creative writing or meditate as my main forms of relaxation. They both make me feel great.

  9. I so agree. We usually rarely take the time to relax when we have a ton of stuff to do! Thanks so much for the reminder!

  10. I completely agree that it is time for me to relax. Between trying to work on my blog, make it to graduation next month without pulling my hair out, gearing up to go to DC next week and back to Israel for New Year’s, I am stressed to capacity. There is so much that I need to get done, and so little time. Through it all, you know what? You have inspired me to relax. Reading is my go-to relaxer, so I will schedule an hour daily to read and relax.

    • Wow, yea, you do have a crazy busy schedule!! But good, hopefully that time will be great for recharging your batteries to tackle your life 🙂 Best wishes…. and have fun!
