Soy Sauce Chicken

This is such a simple yet delicious chicken dish. Everyone in your family will love it!

Equipment

  • 1 Large skillet

Ingredients
  

  • soy sauce
  • minced garlic
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • mushrooms (optional)

Instructions
 

  • First, you'll want to marinate the chicken in soy sauce and garlic. This can be done the day before or basically right before you cook the chicken.
  • Add your oil to a large skillet then place the chicken and marinade into the skillet.
  • Cover and let cook over medium to high heat - about 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the chicken thighs. Turn halfway through.
  • While the chicken is cooking, prepare the flour mixture.
  • Mix the flour with enough water to make a 'thick soup'.
  • Add the flour mixture, mushrooms, and additional water to help thicken up the liquid in the skillet.
  • Once everything is fully heated up you're ready to serve. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve with rice, noodles, or potatoes!
