Mixed Berry Cobbler

The best mixed cobbler recipe, using either fresh or frozen berries.

Ingredients
  

  • .5 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot (cornstarch)
  • 6 cups mixed berries
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • .5 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Add .5 cup sugar, arrowroot, mixed berries, water, and lemon juice to skillet.
  • Stir everything together while you bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Let it boil while the sauce thickens. Stir occashionally.
  • Turn off the heat while you put together the topping.
  • Mix together the Bisquick mix, milk, sugar and melted butter in a medium bowl until fully combined.
  • Pour the mixture into your pie/baking dish then top it with the dough.
  • Either drop the dough onto the mixture in spoonfuls or create pancake-like drops and spread around the mixture.
  • Bake the cobbler for about 15 minutes, until the dough has browned and no longer doughy.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite ice cream or save for later.
  • Best served warm :)
