Adore

Who do you adore?

What do you adore?

It could be lots of things, right?

Your children, loved ones, chocolate lol 🙂

What is it that makes you adore those things?

Is it because of how they/ it makes you feel or simply because you love and respect them so much?

Adore ∼love and respect yourself deeply! Why? Because you should!!!

Tweet this!

How about yourself?

Do you adore yourself?

Why should you?!

Because!!!

Why not?, is what I would say!

You are with yourself 24/7/365 right?

Who better to do it than yourself?

Now, it’s hard right? Since we are with ourselves all.the.time we see all the faults and failures too. But we should also know that we did our best within those faults and failures and/or are learning from them!

“Regard those who respect you.
Esteem those who honor you.
Cherish those who love you.
Reward those who adore you.”

So then, how do you do it?

First, give yourself some leeway.

No one is perfect, and always trying to be isn’t healthy!

Second, as the definition states, love yourself deeply.

Understand your good and your bad, embrace them and start learning to work with them rather than against them.

Third, also as the definition states, respect yourself deeply!

Do you sometimes go places or do things that don’t feel right to you because you feel like you have to?

Are there times when you will agree with someone just because?

Trust yourself to make the right decisions.

I challenge you to, at least find one moment every day. Find one part of you, whether it be something physical you can see, something physical you can do, something only you can see or know, and appreciate and adore that feature!! Because you are worth it!!!

Have you adored yourself today? No?! I’ll wait, go ahead 🙂 Please share with us in the comments what you adore. Thanks!!!

  1. Yes yes yes to this goodness. We should learn to adore ourselves, quirks, flaws and all. We are all so uniquely beautiful and worthy of love. And it should absolutely start with self love. Thanks for such a beautiful, inspirational post ♡

  2. I love the positivity of this post. It definitely gives me a lot of food for thought- I need to focus on allowing myself to *be* and explore my worth. <3 Jamie
