10 Things That Make Me Happy In The Spring
Several months ago I was challenged to write a post about 10 Things that make me Happy. I was so excited to write it until I started!
I immediately thought of about 3 things and then drew a blank!!!
Can you believe that? A blank! I was supposed to write about 10 items and I only had 3!
Well, needless to say after a few more minutes I easily had my 10, plus so many more. That’s when I decided to do seasonal editions!

Now, in case you did miss, and didn’t go and read the other editions :), fall is my favorite. Winter has my favorite holiday but Spring. Spring is when everything is coming back to life. A great time to remind yourself of renewal. Nature does it, so should we 🙂
So, here is my list of 10 things that make me happy in Spring.

Trees Budding
There’s nothing so exciting as seeing the trees come back to life in the spring! The new buds of the leaves emerging is such a welcome sight!
Crisp Days
I know, this one sounds weird since it can’t get any crisper than winter air, but feeling the air getting warmer and therefore feeling crisper and not frigid. Love it.
Winter Ending
‘Nuff said I think 🙂
Flowers
The colors, the smell, the beauty. The reminder that life is renewing itself, regrowing.
Grass
The wonderful green grass peeking out through the white snow. The promise of summer, playing outside again!
Can you name 10 things that make you Happy in the spring?
Easter Chocolate
I mean, unless you don’t like chocolate I think this is a given 🙂
Egg Hunts
Who doesn’t love hiding those little eggs around your yard or house and helping your little one ‘find’ them?
Bunnies
I know, these aren’t just a spring thing but you’ll definitely start seeing them out and about when spring really arrives.
Birds singing
What better sign that spring has arrived then birds singing:) it’s such a wonderful sound, especially if it’s been a harsh winter.
Showers
You know what they say – April showers bring May flowers :)…oh, and it helps clear up that snow too, right?!

I’m happy in Spring when the snow is all gone and I can finally wear flats again. They are my favorite type of shoes. Plus who doesn’t love to shop for new clothes and shoes in the Spring. Spring is also a sign of new life and it makes everything look so beautiful outside.

These are what I love about spring as well! We went on a trail and saw two bunnies, the kids were excited!

Yes on all these!! The cold weather ending is a definite haha! Seeing new flowers blooming and butterflies make me happy 🙂 We have a butterfly garden and wait anxiously every year for it to return as well as the beautiful monarchs and swallowtail butterflies!

It’s so lovely when the birds return and start to sing <3. It's just so uplifting! And I love watching the green return to the world as the snow melts. It's a pretty lovely time of year! I hope you have a wonderful spring!
