Or are you like me and even though you’re on a weight-loss journey you didn’t consider needing anything special for travel.

Maybe because you just aren’t going to worry about it?

We have a trip planned for October and I’ll be honest, I didn’t even think about anything special for the trip.

Yes, I was planning on bringing some protein powder, bars, and jerky but hadn’t thought much farther than that.

Then I saw a few posts on Facebook and it made me start thinking.

I was planning on still tracking my food for the week and trying to get my exercise in but otherwise, I was just going to enjoy our time away.

But some people were asking about some other items to take and I’m going to share those with you here.

Food Scale

I’ve been weighing my food for at least 6 months, maybe longer but it’s still hard for me to eyeball foods.

This travel food scale is one item I really want to get before our trip.

It’s not overly expensive but to be able to use it and have a bit of peace of mind with really how over I might be going 🙂 is worth it.

It’s definitely one of those weight loss travel products I want.

Body Scale

I’ve been weighing myself daily for well over a year now.

It’s one of the things I was willing to skip during our vacation.

Like I said, I was just going to enjoy myself, knowing I’m more than likely to gain weight during the trip.

But being able to continue tracking will be nice.

And this small body scale, that includes a protective carrying case, will allow me to do just that.

Vade Protein Powder

I can’t wait to try this weight loss travel product.

This protein powder from Vade has been on my list for a while regardless but even more intrigued because of our trip.

Have you seen these?

They are pre-packed in the correct serving size, so no need for scoops or loose powder.

But what’s better, the packaging dissolves in whatever liquid you want as you’re base!

I love that it’ll be mess-free and I’ll still be able to get my protein in.

Protein Bars

I’m definitely going to be taking my Kirkland protein bars.

Not only are they so convenient but 30 g of protein in one easy snack.

Plus, the ones I linked to are their chocolate brownie bars and they definitely hit the spot when I’m wanting a bit of chocolate!

Jerky

Another easy protein source that I enjoy is jerky.

Kirkland brand has this turkey variety which is so good, along with steak strips that you’ll love!

I’ll be putting them in individual serving size baggies so I won’t have to worry about how much I’m getting, calories or protein-wise.
